Datalounge.com — an irreverent online community
For 20 years this site has been serving a community of users intensely interested in celebrity gossip, politics and entertainment. It started as a daily gay-interest news site at a time when the mainstream media seldom covered Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) issues. This area of the site was overtaken by changes in the media as reporting on GLBT subjects went mainstream and as a result we stopped producing content but the community remained and the conversation has grown - from a few thousand users to 1.7 million a month.
